The Short-term Chinese Language Training Program at Zhengzhou University (ZZU) is 1 to 12 week program for international students. There are a number of short-term Chinese language programs offered in Zhengzhou University.

Themed Chinese Language Training Program
About the Program
The program takes use of the summer time to teach Chinese language as main part and also have some Chinese characteristic cultural experiences. It can provide quality educational opportunity for the people who want to understand Chinese culture and learn Chinese. The program lasts 1-3 weeks and 20 hours every week, so it has 20-60 hours in total.

Cultural Experiences
Two times every week, including the calligraphy classes, martial arts activities, Chinese arts experiences, Chinese food cooking, shopping and parties with Chinese students, visiting Chinese Families and touring Henan Museum, etc.

Immersion Program in Chinese Culture
About the Program
The purpose of this program is to experience the culture of Central China, where is the cradle of traditional Chinese civilization. We can enjoy the beautiful scenery at the same time learn some practical Chinese and get close to the Chinese and their lives. This program is open all around the year except the winter holiday. It will last 1-2 weeks.

Curriculum
The first week:
- 1st day: Campus tour and learn to speak Chinese (1).
- 2nd day: Visit Henan Museum, city tour and shopping.
- 3rd day: Learn to speak Chinese (2), learn Chinese martial arts.
- 4th day: Visit Shaolin Temple，experience the martial arts.
- 5th day: Learn to speak Chinese (3), learn and experience the Chinese traditional arts.
- 6th day: Visit Kaifeng, taste the food with local features.
- 7th day: Free time
The second week:
- 1st day: Learn to speak Chinese (4), learn and experience calligraphy
- 2nd day: Visit Yuntai Mountain
- 3rd day: Learn to speak Chinese (5), Experience the Chinese tea culture
- 4th day: Visit Luoyang Longmen Grottoes and King City Ruins.
- 5th day: Learn to speak Chinese (6), party with Chinese Students.
- 6th day: Visit Chinese family.
- 7th day: Free time.

Everyday Chinese Training Program
About the Program
This program aims to assist overseas citizens who is living or working in Zhengzhou to improve their Chinese language. It is suitable for learner who has little or only a little knowledge of Chinese language. After completing this program, they should improve their daily Chinese communication dramatically.

- Item A. From 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning of Monday to Friday, 15 hours every week.
- Item B. From 7:00 to 9:00 in the evening of Tuesday, Thursday, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, 8 hours every week.
- Item C. From 3:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 6 hours every week.
Tuition Fees
Item A: RMB 500 Yuan/week; RMB 1,800Yuan/month
Item B: RMB 400 Yuan/week; RMB 1,300Yuan/month
Item C: RMB 300 Yuan/week; RMB 1,000Yuan/month
Tailor-made Chinese Language Training Program
This program aims to cooperate with domestic and foreign enterprises or institutions to improve the Chinese language proficiency of their staff. We can offer tailored-made Chinese courses, including Business Chinese, workplace Chinese, etc at their request.

Program Arrangement
The specific training method, schedule, curriculum and cost standard of this program should be settled by mutual agreement.
The lodging fee for all these program is RMB 50 per day for double-bed room, RMB 100 per day for single-bed room.
