Over 18 years, non-Chinese citizen and in good health

20th June (for autumn semester)

24th Dec (for spring semester of next year)

Curriculum

Duration: One semester to 2 academic years, 20 class hours per week. Elementary courses, intermediate and advanced courses offered.

Compulsory courses: Intensive reading, Listening, Conversation, Chinese Writing, Audio and Visual and Speaking, Brief Introduction of Chinese Society, etc.

Optional Courses: Brief introduction of Contemporary Chinese language, Newspaper & Magazine Reading, Translation, Tutoring for HSK.

Language Practice: The international students will be arranged to have a free visit to the historical cultural spots in and around Shanghai each semester.

Accommodation

The International Students Service Centers is located on three campuses of Tongji University independently. They are all facilitated with telephone sets, toilets, showers, air-conditioning, public kitchens, classrooms, and business services such as duplication, fax and e-mail sending, typing and air-ticket and train ticket booking are offered.
