About the Program

This program is one of SCUTs best, aiming to cultivate international talents with a comprehensive knowledge of computer technology, creativity, and the ability to conduct academic research. Specialized courses, such as ‘Multimedia Technology’ and ‘Artificial Intelligence’ are offered. Graduates will possess the capabilities needed to work in industrial organizations, research departments, and computer hardware/software development organizations, and governmental departments. They will also be equipped to contribute in the areas of computing research, engineering development, and other related fields.

Entry Requirements

• High school graduate with good record of equivalency certificate
• Language requirements for non-English speaking countries: TOEFL IBT 68 or above; IELTS 5.5 or above.

Curriculum

Main Courses: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Chinese, Introduction to Chinese Culture, Data Structure, Program Design of High-level Language, Operating System, Principles of Compiling, Computer Network, Database, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees are RMB26,000 per year. The total for the 4 year program is 104,000 RMB.
