About the Program
Mechanical Engineering apply their scientific knowledge to solve problems and design machines that help us to enjoy a better lifestyle. They work in every sector of industry, in areas such as design, development, research, consultancy, manufacture or marketing, combining technical and managerial expertise. Mechanical Engineering is the broadest of all the engineering disciplines and graduates find employment in every sector of industry. The course provides an excellent foundation in engineering science and design and also offers opportunities to develop specialist knowledge in areas such automotive and aerospace engineering.
Course Structure
The degree is offered as a three of four year programme depending on your entry qualification. Students have the option to study the whole course in China (3+0 or 4+0) or spend their last two years at The University of Nottingham, UK (1+2 or 2+2).
