The Standard Chinese Language Program at ECNU is a one semester (or more) program for international students.

About the Program

The long-term language classes are fit for students who aim to improve their knowledge of Chinese and Chinese language skills. The classes stress the equal importance of listening, speaking, reading and writing Chinese in order to lay a solid foundation for students on the basis of practicality.

Time of class: Mon.~ Fri., 20 class hours a week(45min/class hour)

5. Certificate & transcript upon completion
6. Three main Levels – elementary, intermediate, and advanced
7. 0ver 30 classes available every semester

Cultural activities and field trips:
We arrange free field trips to historical sights every semester and organize rich cultural activities like singing contests, sports matches, and so on.

Accommodation

There are four international student dorms on Zhongshan Rd. Campus: International Exchange Service Center, No.1 International Student Residence Hall, No.2 International Student Residence Hall, and No.12 Student Residence Hall.
