The Tsinghua-INSEAD Executive MBA (TIEMBA) program achieved impressive results in the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2023. This year, the dual degree secured the 2nd position globally in the Joint Programs list.

This marks TIEMBA’s highest achievement in the QS EMBA Rankings to date, climbing two spots from last year.

The TIEMBA program has excelled in multiple ranking indicators. It holds the top position globally in Thought Leadership, and the second spot for both Career Outcomes and Employer Reputation. The rankings reflect the outstanding academic reputation of the program and the significant achievements in empowering its graduates’ career prospects.

The impressive scores achieved for each indicator highlights the strengths of the TIEMBA program partnership. For Academic Reputation, it received a perfect score of 100, reaffirming its leading position in the academic community. In the Employer Reputation indicator, a score of 99.2 further showcases the program’s ability to cultivate highly-employable graduates who are in demand by leading global corporations. For Career Outcomes, it earned scores of 93.3 for salary increases one year after graduation and 89.9 for promotion rates one year after graduation. These acknowledge the significant career progress made by the program’s graduates.Furthermore, the TIEMBA program was recognized for its diversity among students and faculty, with a score of 92.7 for the non-male representation. In its current class of 2024, females make up 51.4% of the students, marking success in the program’s commitment to supporting gender equality.

The QS World University Rankings is a portfolio of university ratings compiled by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the leading analyst in global higher education. This July, it released the 7th edition of the QS Executive MBA Rankings. With a total of 227 EMBA programs from 49 global regions, it is the largest and most internationalized EMBA comparison published by QS to date.

Since its inclusion in the QS Joint programs category in 2019, the TIEMBA program has consistently ranked among the top five globally. The program is designed for professionals in senior management roles, helping them cultivate global perspectives and sustainable leadership style, and enabling them to make great contributions in corporate development and global business innovation.

The program was jointly launched by Tsinghua University’s School of Economics and Management and INSEAD in 2007, and has successfully held 16 sessions, attracting more than 600 students from 49 countries around the world.

From 2018 – 2022, the universities carried out a comprehensive reform and upgrade, forming a new curriculum that centers on four dimensions, “Global Insights”, “China In-depth”, “Business Fundamentals” and “Future Thinking”, that integrate global visions with Chinese business practices, leading students to grow into business leaders who encourage innovative consciousness and corporate social responsibility.
