Beijing – September 20th 2019 — China Admissions arranged student visits from The Philippines to Beijing, China.
Around 20 graduate students of International Business major from the University of Sto. Tomas Philippines and Philippines Graduate School of Business visited the school of Chinese Institute of World Trade Organization (CIWTO) at University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China. This event was conducted as a part of their study tour programs to Beijing, China which aims for the students to be able to expand their network, experiences, as well as seeing the International Business being implemented in China, as led by Dr. Eduardo Ong, LLB, Ph.D, DPA, DBA, who is also the Chairman of Education at the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During their visit to CIWTO, they are warmly welcomed by the representative of CIWTO, Associate Professor Li Si Qi. The event was filled with school introduction, 20-minutes presentation conducted by Associate Professor Li Si Qi on the topics of International Trade, and then followed by 40-minutes discussion and Q&A session. Aside from that, one of the alumni of Master of World Trade Organization Law and Economics Program from Indonesia, Ms. Nadia Wijaya, was also there to share her experiences during the 2-years study at the University.
Overall, it was a joyful and insightful event for both the students and the professors. The students were very active and enthusiast during the event. Surely, this event has added more understanding and knowledge to the students on the International Trade topic, as well as strengthening the relationship of the universities involved.
