Introduction to the Program

The Semester Program at South China Institute (SCI) is a one semester or one year program for international students.

About the Program

This program is designed to help students learn how business operations and decisions are shaped by a global market environment. It focuses on the use of analytical tools to help business leaders make better and more informed decisions by enhancing their understanding and analysis of the risks, challenges and opportunities faced by businesses in the international arena. It is designed for international students to come to China for one semester or one year.

You can take any available class at Beijing Foreign Studies University International Business School and also Chinese classes.

The program welcomes students who want to apply independently or who want to apply as part of an exchange program.Your university does not need to have a formal partnership with BFSU, we can help to create it.

If you are an exchange student, we will also assist you in preparing the course information so you can get the credits in your home university.

Start Date of the Program

Fall(September)/Spring(March)

Entry Requirements:

Proof of English proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

Application Deadline:

The application deadline for the spring semester is 31st November, the application deadline for the fall semester is June 30th.

Tuition Fees:

The tuition fees are subsidised to encourage international students, and are 22,000 RMB each semester (CNY 44,000/year). There are scholarship opportunities.
