So, you already visited China Admissions, chose a Chinese university and a degree program to pursue, filled out China Admissions’ online application form, submitted relevant documents and paid the application fee, NOW WHAT?
Here’s what to expect after application submission!
Step 1:
China Admissions will review your application and contact you back in 24 hours with feedback on your application.
Step 2:
After making sure that we have all the required documents and information to meet the university requirements, we will submit your application directly to the university.
Step 3:
The Chinese university will evaluate your application and decide if you will be accepted. The university processing time takes about 3-4 weeks, depending on the university.
Step 4:
Congratulations, you are accepted! After your acceptance, China Admissions will send your admission notice directly to your personal email. Please note that most universities in China ask for the deposit payment to secure your seat and to apply for your visa form (JW202 form).
Step 5:
After your deposit payment to the university account, the university will apply for your JW202 form to the Exit-Entry Bureau of the city. It will take about 3-4 weeks to process the JW202 form.
Step 6:
After you receive the JW202 form and admission package from the university, you will need to apply for a student visa (X1 visa).
Step 7:
You have already received your visa, so you are ready for your journey to China!
The whole process doesn’t look that complicated, watch this video from Ms. Dulguun Khurelsukh, China Admissions’ Operations and Admissions Manager as she gives a more detailed explanation of the process in this video (4:58):
