Dr. Yan Dong

Dr. Yan is a distinguished member of DaHui Lawyers’ employment law practice teams. His practice focuses on advising on human resources issues in both transactional and dispute resolution contexts. He has advised Fortune global 500 companies on international labor law issues affecting their human resources affairs globally, and he frequently assists large PRC SOEs in relation to overseas employment and human resources disputes.
Dr. Yan is a distinguished legal scholar. He is an Assistant Professor at Beijing Foreign Studies University School of Law, where he teaches labor law. He has published extensively in his fields, including one book and more than 10 academic articles.

Dr. Lian Jie obtained a doctorate degree in law from the University of Minnesota in 2010 and is a practicing lawyer in California. He has 9 years of practical experience in court appearances in the United States. The lawyer has repeatedly won major jury and appellate court cases. His representative case has been included as a classic case by the famous American legal journal “Verdict Search”.
Dr. Lian has been selected as the “Top Litigation Lawyer” by California Pasadena Magazine for 3 consecutive years. In May 2018, Mr. Lian Jie went to Washington on behalf of the China Patent Protection Association and raised objections to tariffs on Chinese products at the “301 hearing” held by the US government. Due to his outstanding performance at this hearing, Mr. Lian was selected as the “Most Attracted Person in China’s Lawyer Industry in 2018” by the National Law Association.
Dr. Hongyu Fu

Prof. Fu focuses on international investment law issues including investor-state dispute solution, national security review, and antitrust issues, as well as international IP transactions and other international economic and financial law issues.
Prof. Fu served as delegates in US-China BIT negotiations and is appointed as a legal adviser by the Ministry of Finance. Prof. Fu has published extensively in law journals in both Chinese and English. He has published six treatises on international investment law and IP law. He has conducted over 10 research projects for entities including the Ministry of Finance and State Grid Co. His reports have been accredited, and circulated to State Council and People’s Congress, etc.
