Application Deadlines for SILC 2024

November 30 2023 to June 30 2024

Eligibility

1. Minimum age is 18 years old
2. Foreign nationality
3. Native speakers of English
4. In good health

Application Documents for SILC

1. Passport photo page
2. Passport-sized ID photo
3. Self-introduction mini video
4. An official copy of high school diploma and/or additional higher learning certificates
5. Official transcripts from high school (for undergraduate)
   1. High school graduation with GPA 3.0/4 or above or its equivalent
   2. Qualified mathematics record
6. Bachelor degree with GPA 2.5/4.0 or above (for postgraduate)
7. Language Proficiency Certificate or a screen shot of the scores
   1. IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL: 90 (iBT) / Duolingo 120 or above received within the last two years
   2. Pass SILC English Language Proficiency Test
8. Statement of financial support
9. Honors/Awards/Research output (if available)

Students apply for Postgraduate programs need extra documents as follow:

1. Study plan or research proposal in China
2. Two Letters of Recommendation by two professors or associate professors from previous academic institutions or work supervisors, etc. (including signature and contact information)

* Documents not in Chinese or English should be translated and notarized.
**Fresh graduates can provide a proof of pre-graduation as replacement for high school diploma
