Here’s a draft schedule for the one-week trip:
- Day 1: Arrival in Beijing, welcome dinner in Beijing with roast duck and Peking opera
- Day 2: Visit to Tsinghua University and lunch with Tsinghua students visit to Beijing tech company and dinner with professionals
- Day 3: Visit to Peking University and tour in morning, afternoon with Beijing influencers to learn about creator economy
- Day 4: Beijing film academy introduction to movie industry. Afternoon: Chinese Tea class, and calligraphy / acrobatics / kung fu class in old Beijing hutongs
- Day 5: Flight to Shanghai and afternoon free
- Day 6: Visit to Shanghai Jiaotong University with tour and meeting with Fudan students for coffee chat
- Day 7: Visit to Fudan university networking event with Chinese and international students on river cruise on the bund
- Day 8: Visit to Alibaba to meet Alibaba Ecommerce Global Talent development program, flight to Shenzhen
The cost of the trip is $10,000-$12,000, which includes transport within China and accommodation. This cost does not include international airfare, visas, or other personal expenses.
